Nola McGowan

Partner

Nola became a partner at Denham Bramwell in April 2021 following the Vlatkovich & McGowan merger.

She is a dedicated and experienced lawyer whose clients find her easy to deal with and focused on their needs. Her general practice serves both personal and commercial clients.

Nola worked in two Queen Street firms after qualifying as a solicitor and went on to set up a legal practice in her hometown of Whangaparaoa in 1984. A trailblazer for young women in law, she was the youngest female sole practitioner at the time.

She later went into partnership with her husband and brother-in-law, creating the firm, Vlatkovich & McGowan, based in Auckland and Whangaparaoa, which later merged with Denham Bramwell.

When she’s not practicing law, Nola is a celebrant of civil ceremonies including weddings and funerals.

Nola is a partner who does not share the liabilities of the partnership.
