Seraphim Potifara
Prior to joining Denham Bramwell, Seraphim practised immigration law in South Auckland. She was also a litigator for Oranga Tamariki in Hamilton and Auckland for over four years.
She provides advice in legal matters concerning care of children, guardianship, and family violence disputes. Seraphim also represents clients in care and protection disputes involving Oranga Tamariki. She regularly appears in the Family Court but where possible, prefers to resolve disputes by negotiation or mediation.
Seraphim is an adaptable lawyer who will try to find pragmatic solutions to achieve her clients’ goals and guide them through the process. She seeks child-focussed solutions, tailored to suit the lives of her clients.
Born and raised in South Auckland, Seraphim is passionate about working with a culturally diverse range of clients. She speaks fluent Samoan, and her approachable nature provides the confidence for her to work with clients of all backgrounds and walks of life.
